Before Glitzed N Fixed, there was Glitz Fix.
The name came to me after a 21-day period of prayer and fasting. I had been seeking God for direction, and what I received wasn’t simply a name for a beauty business.
I received the blueprint for it, too.

A Glitz Fix is anything that makes you feel extravagant or glamorous in appearance, restores your confidence, and gives you a feeling of euphoria that’s hard to do without.
At the time, I couldn’t have known just how much that definition would grow with me.
What began as a beauty business became a career, a community, and eventually something much bigger than the services I performed.
Glitz Fix became part of my story.
And now, Glitzed N Fixed is the evolution of it.

Introduce Myself.
I’m Ashley, also known as Ms. Glitz Fix. Esthetician. Award-winning Brazilian wax artist. Entrepreneur. Former regional wax trainer. Wellness enthusiast. And, apparently, the person everybody tells their business to while they’re naked from the waist down.
For more than a decade, beauty has been my business, but people have always been my passion.
I built my career in esthetics one Brazilian, one brow, and one relationship at a time. Somewhere along the way, I became known for doing something that sounds almost impossible until you’ve experienced it:

The 15-Minute Brazilian.
Fast? Absolutely. Rushed? Never.
That expertise eventually took me beyond my own treatment room. I’ve served as a Regional Trainer for a major waxing franchise, helping develop other waxing professionals, competed multiple times in The Skin Games, and became an award-winning Brazilian wax artist in my own right.
I’ve also been recognized by the Black Women’s Professional League as a 40 Under 40 honoree for making an impact in the Chicagoland area.
But titles and awards only tell part of the story.
The part I’m most proud of is the community that grew around Glitz Fix. Clients became regulars. Regulars became Glitz Chicks. And somewhere between “undress from the waist down” and “see you in four weeks,” a whole lot of them became family.
That’s the part you can’t put on a trophy.

But My Glitz Fix Was
Changing, Too.
While beauty was becoming my career, fitness was becoming part of my lifestyle.
I’ve been committed to working out and staying active for nearly a decade. Then, over the last few years, something else caught my attention: nutrition.
I wanted to understand more than what to eat. I wanted to understand how nutrition affects the way we look, feel, perform, and show up in our everyday lives.
And because apparently I don’t know how to just casually enjoy a hobby, on August 1, 2025, I took things to another level and began preparing for my first competitive bodybuilding season.
Prep day one: Aug 1, 2025
I stepped on stage twice that season and walked away with one 2nd-place, two 4th-place, and two 5th-place finishes.

But the medals weren’t the biggest takeaway.
The process taught me just how connected discipline, nutrition, movement, confidence, and self-care really are.
I had spent years helping other women experience their Glitz Fix from the outside...
And I Was Learning How Powerful It Could Be From the Inside, Too.
That’s when the bigger picture started making sense.
Beauty wasn’t going anywhere.
Waxing wasn’t going anywhere.
Ms. Glitz Fix definitely wasn’t going anywhere.
But the brand had room for more.
And so did I.
The Evolution:

Think of it as Glitz Fix 2.0.
The evolution gives the brand room to become everything it was always meant to be.
Because when God gave me the definition of a Glitz Fix, He never said it had to be a wax.
